Most of our clients are charged with property offences (theft, fraud, mischief) or matters involving assault, threats (both domestic and non domestic), sexual assault, and child pornography.Our clients are primarily concerned with the prospect of possibly getting a criminal record, problems with their immigration status, U.S. travel, and police background checks and information sharing causing employment and future employment problems.

What other legal services do you provide?
Most of our clients are ultimately able to avoid a criminal conviction (criminal record) and sentence. As they are being fingerprinted and having their information shared and disclosed to other third parties by the police, we also focus on providing expert services for issues relating to the charge itself, such as:- Fingerprints and police records destruction;
- How to repress the release of police records relating to your arrest on specific employment and background checks;
- Ways to minimize problems travelling to the U.S. related to the charge information and record of arrest being stored in CPIC and other police databases;
- Information about potential immigration/IRCC related issues: including work permits, PR, and citizenship applications;
- How to avoid and handle future questions from potential employers and law enforcement officials regarding the incident.
- Help for members of professional career governing bodies that may deem the charge as "conduct unbecoming" (nurses, teachers, engineers, physicians, lawyers, dentists, etc.)
Even if your charge is ultimately dropped, it can still show up on certain employment background checks, and impact immigration, travel (including to the United States), and membership in professional societies. There are many ways to proactively avoid such problems and destroy records relating to the charge itself.
